Shaping spaces through flowers

At Lilae, we work with interiors, light, and the rhythm of the seasons to create floral styling that feels like a natural part of a space. The aim is simple: let flowers enhance what already exists, adding warmth, texture, and a quietly considered presence.

Whether it’s a family home, villa, restaurant, or hotel lounge, our approach starts with the space itself: its light, materials, and how people move through it. We consider sightlines, surfaces, and season, so that every arrangement feels natural and intentional.

Work ranges from subtle accents that complete an interior to larger pieces that punctuate an arrival or gallery wall. We design floral ideas that feel right in the moment and make spaces more lived-in and welcoming over time.

Practical care is part of our approach. We advise on placement to keep flowers safe from heat or service areas, suggest materials that maintain freshness, and plan installations. For larger projects we prepare clear notes, so the finished work sits perfectly with the architecture and daily use of the space.

Creating harmony between flowers and space

Understanding the environment

We analyse the interior’s mood, palette, and circulation. These details inform the character and positioning of each floral element.

Developing the concept

We prepare visual references and material suggestions that align with the client’s aesthetic vision and functional needs.

Realising the design

All pieces are created and tested in-studio, then positioned on-site with attention to light, scale, and texture to ensure harmony in the final composition.

Have more questions?

If you have anything else you’d like to know, please get in touch, we’ll be happy to help.

What does a floral design consultation include?

It starts with an introduction to your space: its use, atmosphere, and any existing design plans. We then suggest concepts, palettes, and arrangements that complement your environment.

Do you offer ongoing styling or one-time consultations?

Both. We provide one-time consultations for specific projects and ongoing styling for homes, hotels, and restaurants.

How early should I book a consultation?

For most design projects booking 2-3 weeks in advance is ideal to allow time for concept development and sourcing. Large-scale events may require up to two months of preparation. For Christmas installations we recommend scheduling consultations in late October or early November.

Can you adapt to specific themes or design aesthetics?

Absolutely. Our work adapts to minimal, classic, or contemporary settings while keeping the floral language consistent.

Do you travel for on-site consultations?

Yes. We can visit locations or provide remote consultations using detailed plans and imagery.

What makes Lilae’s approach different?

Our focus is on atmosphere, flowers as part of spatial storytelling, not decoration. Each design grows from the character of the place itself.
